A little about me and the story behind SUEDE Beauty Lounge…
I’m Michelle Maloof, RN, and aesthetics has been part of my life for more than 20 years. I’ve had the opportunity to grow with this industry, own a medical spa, work alongside incredible providers, and help so many women feel more confident while still looking like themselves.
But SUEDE is different because it’s personal.
Almost 10 years ago, my husband Richard and I had a dream of creating an aesthetics company together—something that combined my passion and experience in aesthetics with his business mindset and our shared vision of building something of our own.
Life took us in different directions, and that dream was put on hold, but it never really went away.
Now, a decade later, SUEDE Beauty Lounge is that dream finally coming to life.
We wanted SUEDE to feel different from the traditional medspa—more intimate, elevated, warm, and personal. A place where treatments aren’t about changing someone’s face or chasing trends, but about creating thoughtful treatment plans, beautiful skin, natural results, and confidence.
The name SUEDE represents exactly how we want the space to feel: soft, timeless, luxurious, warm, and a little unexpected. From the atmosphere to the treatments to the smallest details, everything has been intentionally chosen to create an experience that feels personal rather than clinical.
For me, SUEDE is more than opening another aesthetics business. It’s Richard and me finally building the dream we talked about 10 years ago—and getting to build it together.
And I couldn’t be more excited to finally open the doors.

Suede Beauty Lounge was born from a vision bigger than simply creating another aesthetics practice. I’ve watched Michelle turn aesthetics into an art form—because while someone can learn to be a nurse, learn anatomy, or learn how to fill a syringe, true aesthetic artistry can’t simply be taught. It’s an instinct. An eye. An organic gift for seeing balance, proportion, and beauty in a way others may not. My vision for Suede was to create a place worthy of that gift—to bring Michelle’s talent, standards, and approach to more people while building something that can grow far beyond one location. Someday, I want Suede Beauty Lounge to become a place where the next generation of aesthetic artists can be mentored, developed, and ultimately carry that same philosophy into Suede Beauty Lounges of their own. Suede isn’t just a beauty lounge—it’s the beginning of a legacy.
